“Vault”

Vault is a musical performance that investigates the concert hall as both site and symbol. Drawing on themes of cultural dissonance and fractured musical identity, the piece enacts a physical and sonic deconstruction: a fragment of the Walt Disney Concert Hall is metaphorically “peeled” from the architecture, then shaken, struck, and scraped. What emerges is a collision of noise and beauty—a raw, embodied composition that questions what it means to belong, perform, and resonate within institutional space.
